Stepping back from focusing on the daily issues very much helps me keep a perspective that facilitates peace of mind and soul. One this particular day I climbed to the top of a local hill named Mount Tolmie (120 meters high at the popular viewpoint) around 6 am. The scene that awaited me took my spirit on a slow meditative journey into the eternal aura of the natural world. The city below was just awakening. People were going about their business likely unaware of the natural drama unfolding in part due to my lofty viewpoint. Since I was there enjoying the wonder I captured a few reference photos to remind me of the outlines. For the colors I rely on my memory and how I filtered the view through my spirit. Once again even through writing this up I am inspired to live in the moment, and breathe deeply.
